Our client required the upgrade of its existing HV infrastructure at its 11kV/12MVA facility to 33kV/36MVA without interruption to its operation. The project included:
- “Live” transition of site power supply with zero operational downtime
- Replacement of eight 33kV/2.5MVA dry type transformers with eight 33kV/2.5MVA transformers
- Construction and commissioning of a temporary sub-station for the two-week transition window
- Installation and upgrade of existing 11kV switchboards to 33kV
- Protection relay configuration and commissioning
- Installation, termination and VLF testing of 8000m of HV cable
- Project Management of client stakeholders, public utilities and authorities
