August 2020
With Western Australia slowly returning to normality, here at Metrowest we can happily confirm that we have had a busy winter! Thanks to the hard work of the government and in compliance with their recommendations, we have been able to continue operations and reach several exciting milestones.
Childcare centres are the name of the game at Metrowest Constructions at the moment; in May we began works at our Joondanna site, joining the Gwelup project as our second childcare build currently active. We were also awarded a contract last week for a new childcare centre in Margaret River, and we are excited to get going with this new challenge. Down in Pinjarra, our service station is coming on in bounds, with our focus now on the tenancy fitouts.
Metrowest Electrical & Communications have had an extremely productive few months. Throughout lockdown we were able to continue works on the Forrestfield Rail Link and the Port Headland BHP Lab, the latter of which is now only a few weeks from Practical Completion. We wrapped up the new Amazon Warehouse, reaching completion for this big project in April. Alongside these, we have won contracts for the electrical fitouts of a new country club, warehouse, and apartment block in various Perth locations.
Metrowest would like to thank our teams for their diligence over the last few months, and our new and existing customers for their support; without you all, we would not have been able to continue where many others were forced to stop. Thanks everyone!
